Caitlyn Stone joined the SAGE III/ISS Team in the fall of 2018 as a mission operations engineer after graduating from Virginia Tech earlier that same year with bachelor’s degrees in both Aerospace Engineering and Meteorology. During her time in college, she participated in the university’s annual storm chase in the summer of 2016 and interned at NOAA’s satellite operations facility in the summers of 2017 and 2018.

Outside of work, Stone enjoys keeping up with a life-long list of hobbies, including photography and photo editing, low-to-mid power rocketry, model building, and gaming.
